Q. How do you ship?
A. We usually rely on UPS Ground for our shipping. However, there are times when we will use FedEx. We rely on both companies because they provide the best quality service we can get. When we need to do something quickly, we use UPS three day service. If something quicker is required, email us and we will work something out with you.
Q. What is your policy on returns?
A. We are pretty liberal on returns. We want you to be happy. Our site accurately represents our gift items, if not understates them. So what you see online is what you get, although our gifts look much nicer in person! If something is broken, that is not your responsibility. Let us know within three days of receipt of the item, and we will arrange that you get a replacement or a credit, the choice is yours.
Q. Do you ship quickly?
A. We ship as quickly as we can. When an item is in stock, we ship within a couple of days. If an item is on its way to us, then we ship as soon as we get it. When we are not able to get an item quickly, we notify you so that you can make an informed decision. If our shipping schedule is not good for you, then we will refund your money at no cost to you. We would rather make a friend that will come back to us in the future, than risk creating an uncomfortable situation.
Q. Is the site secure?
A. Yes! When you check out, you will notice the small lock appears in the bottom left corner of the webpage. That indicates the site is secured with SSL 128 bit encryption protection. In plain english that means we have a site designed to keep your information protected.
Q. Do you really support the Everglades?
A. We really do. We give $1 from each sale to either the Audubon Society or the Arthur Marshall Foundation. We also give our items to the Arthur Marshall Foundation for their fundraisers for silent auction and the like. We have also started offering gift subscriptions to the Audubon Magazine as part of our support efforts. We also support other causes from time to time with either a gift item or a gift certificate they can use as part of their own fundraisers. We review each request and make sure it is a worthy cause and a bonafide organization.
Q. What is the magazine deal?
A. At the end of each quarter, we are going to randomly choose a customer of FlaSwamp.com to receive a one-year subscription to the Audubon Magazine. This will hopefully foster interest and education about the Everglades. We started this in 2006. We are pleased to announce that Paula from Texas is our first gift subscription recipient! Other subscriptions have been given to: Helen from California, Karyl of Florida and Christine of Florida.
Q. Are your customers really satisfied?
A. We certainly hope so! And we do everything we can to make your time with FlaSwamp.com a good experience, one that you would want to repeat and recommend to a friend!
Q. What if this is a gift? Can you send a card?
A. Sure. A good portion of our items we send are gifts to others. If you would like a small card enclosed to let someone know it is a special gift from you, we will be happy to oblige when we can. (Sometimes, such as when an item is sent directly from a supplier to you without it stopping by our place, this is not possible.)
